Where to find the best maternity clothes for a stylish pregnancy
Source: Where to find the best maternity clothes for a stylish pregnancy
Finding your own personal style can be difficult at the best of times, let alone when your body is constantly changing during pregnancy – this is where the best maternity wear comes in.
I was six months old myself and naively thought I could get away with my normal clothes until I realized that none of my pants fitted anymore. That’s why I’ve done extensive research for you to bring together the most comfortable – and stylish, because yes, they can be – maternity clothes on the market.
The best maternity tops
One of the biggest concerns for moms-to-be is comfort, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up style altogether. Of course, you’ll never go wrong with a classic white t-shirt, but there are so many more options down the high street.
Go casual at the weekend with Breton tops or silky shirts paired with jeans and trainers. Wear printed blouses and oversized shirts paired with tapered pants and/or skirts during the week or for smarter occasions.
Arden Organic Maternity Top – £45 at Baukjen
Isabella Oliver produces high-quality, durable maternity wear and reduces the environmental impact of clothing through a range of re-commerce initiatives; including Pre-Loved, Rental & Pass The Parcel. Winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, Isabella Oliver places a strong focus on fabrics that fit, flatter and grow like a pregnant woman’s body. The brand is already a firm favorite with A-listers including Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba and Ciara.

The best maternity pants and jeans
Jeans are a savior during pregnancy, you just can’t go wrong with them. I’ve been living in mine since the end of my first trimester and it was such a relief not having to tweak my old jeans anymore.
But if denim isn’t your thing, don’t panic. Silk pants, linen pants, and printed pants can work just as well.
Oriana Maternity Jeans – $305 at L’Agence
L’Agence’s selection of maternity jeans is second to none. I love the subtle side panels on these jeans that adjust to your growing bump.

With wedding season and summer fast approaching, there’s nothing more practical than having a dress or two in your closet that you can easily throw on and feel instantly stylish.
You can’t go wrong with a floral dress at weddings, but I’ve also found some lovely everyday shirt dresses.

The best maternity swimwear
Whether you’re going for a swim at your local gym or flying off on an exotic vacation, it’s important to invest in swimwear that makes you feel fabulous. Unfortunately, swimwear is one area where your non-maternity clothes just don’t cut it. Swimsuits are always a stylish option, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear bikinis if you have a big bump.
BLACK AND WHITE STRIPE MATERNITY TANKINI – £35 at JoJo Maman Bébé
As well as offering a wide range of adorable baby clothes, JoJo Maman Bébé also specializes in stylish maternity wear, including this classic swimsuit.
