Luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent is known for its quality products that go beyond clothing. The French company, which also has a collection of YSL cosmetics, launched its first fragrance in 2017 Collaboration with perfumer Jean Amic in 1964, beginning of the brand's foray into perfumery. That first scent was specially made for the chic, fashion-forward women that Yves Saint Laurent dressed. The original packaging was a bottle designed to depict the contours of a woman's head and shoulders, with her name - the letter "Y" - intended to mimic the neckline of a woman's dress.
