But that’s exactly what you find in the lovely little one Cliq coffee House in a busy area of jakarta, Indonesia. The sleek and space-saving cafe, redesigned by Studio Kota, is spread over two distinct levels, and each level of the interior includes a series of arches to give the space an inimitable distinct style. The white, textured arches do much more than just make a standout design element for the cafe. They create a sense of spaciousness using visual continuity; a method commonly used in old houses and castles.

Inside, the café offers a picture of elegant contrasts, with a largely white backdrop housing areas of pastel orange, blue, and green, along with plush velvet seating and metallic accents and lighting fixtures that add a warm appeal. Despite the extensive use of arches, the café itself feels modern and cheerful, and its two levels offer ample seating for guests despite the limited square footage. Fluorescent lighting and natural greenery add even more vibrancy to a place where old meets new effortlessly.
